Poco has confirmed that the Poco M6 Pro 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is a new mid-range processor that was announced by Qualcomm in May 2023. It is built on a 4nm process and is said to offer a significant performance improvement over the previous generation Snapdragon 480. The company has teased the smartphone on the Flipkart website. The Poco M6 Pro 5G is expected to come as a successor to the Poco M4 Pro 5G that debuted in the country in February last year.

Poco M6 Pro is scheduled to launch in India on August 5. The smartphone will be available for purchase from Flipkart website.

Poco M6 Pro: Expected features
A teaser image of the Poco M6 Pro 5G has been released by the company, revealing the design and colours of the smartphone. The phone is shown in Cyan with curved panels on the back. It has a similar appearance to the Poco M4 Pro 5G, with the same rectangular camera module and dual-tone design. The Poco M6 Pro 5G also has a dual-camera setup on the back, as well as an LED flash. The Poco branding is also visible on the back of the phone.

According to a report by Xiaomiui, Poco M6 Pro 5G will have a 6.79-inch IPS LCD panel with 90 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to come out of the box with MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Poco M6 Pro 5G could pack a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support. The fingerprint sensor will be placed on the power key.

The Poco M6 Pro 5G is also expected to have a 6.6-inch FHD+ display, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It is also expected to have a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
