Fans think Taylor Swift’s new songs are about Karlie Kloss

Rumors of beef between Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss’ have been swirling for years, and the singer further fueled the fire with two new bonus tracks for her “Evermore” album that dropped on Thursday.

Fans are speculating that in the song “it’s time to go,” Swift is hinting at Kloss when she sings, “When the words of a sister, come back in whispers, that proves she was not, in fact, what she seemed.”

The 31-year-old artist went on to sing, “Not a twin from your dreams, she’s a crook who was caught.”

And others pointed out another set of lyrics that could be aimed at the 28-year-old model in Swift’s other song “right where you left me,” where she sings, “Friends break up, friends get married.”

As fans pointed out, Swift did not attend either of Kloss’ two wedding ceremonies to Josh Kushner.

Swift took to Instagram to clarify the meaning of her bonus tracks.

“The evermore deluxe album with 2 bonus tracks ‘right where you left me’ and ‘it’s time to go’ is now available!” Swift wrote on Instagram on Friday. “The first is a song about a girl who stayed forever in the exact spot where her heart was broken, completely frozen in time. ‘it’s time to go’ is about listening to your gut when it tells you to leave. How you always know before you know, you know? 🍂”

The former besties used to be inseparable back in the day. But as Page Six previously reported in August 2019, things took a turn when Kloss allegedly took advantage of Swift’s hospitality.

However, neither of them have publicity confirmed what was behind the demise of their friendship.
