The woman shown in a now-viral video calling the cops on a black man in Central Park after he asked her to keep her dog on a leash should be permanently banned from the green space, a neighborhood activist said Tuesday.

Michael Fischer, president of the Central Park Civic Association, called Amy Cooper’s actions in the widely shared video “a disgusting display of intolerance” that should “never, ever be accepted in the City’s public domain like Central Park.”

“The Central Park Civic Association condemns this behavior and is calling on Mayor de Blasio to impose a lifetime ban on this lady for her deliberate, racial misleading of law enforcement and violating behavioral guidelines set so that all can enjoy our city’s most famous park,” Fischer said.

Fischer told the Post his association has received “quite a few comments” from local residents who were “very offended by what this woman did in the park.”

Though the NYPD will not be pursuing charges against Cooper, Fischer said that de Blasio’s office should step in.

“The police, we know they’re busy and maybe they don’t need to be the ones taking the action,” Fischer said. “Maybe the mayor needs to take the action and go through the process of not allowing her in the park unless she goes for rehabilitation and gets help.”

Fischer said his organization has not yet reached out to any city agencies about the incident, but plans to do so.

The clash between Amy Cooper and bird watcher Christian Cooper unfolded Monday at a wooded area of Central Park called the Ramble.

Christian said he asked Amy to put the dog on a leash, and when she didn’t, he offered the pooch a treat.

Amy has claimed she felt threatened because she didn’t know what the dog treats were made of.

She’s shown on the video telling the 911 operator that “There is an African American man. He is recording me and threatening my dog.”

On social media, Amy is being referred to as “Karen,” the social media shorthand for white women who call the cops on black neighbors over harmless incidents.

Fischer told the Post that the woman’s actions are “a good example of what America is not about.”

“Racism, as far as I’m concerned, is right up there with this [coronavirus],” he said. “It itself is a virus and needs to be handled immediately.”

Amy Cooper has since apologized, insisted she is “not a racist,” and said her “entire life is being destroyed” since the video went viral.
