Rebel Wilson says she’s treated better since weight loss

Rebel Wilson says her dramatic weight loss over the past year hasn’t changed her, but it has changed others.

Specifically, it’s changed how other people treat her, the actress explained on Australian radio show “The Morning Crew With Hughesy, Ed and Erin,” according to the UK’s Independent.

“I like to think I looked good at all sizes and stuff and I’ve always been quite confident,” the “Pitch Perfect” star said. “So it wasn’t like I wasn’t confident and then now I’m, like, super confident.

“I think what’s been really interesting to me is how other people treat you. Sometimes being bigger, people didn’t necessarily look twice at you.”

The 40-year-old added that having people “offer to carry my groceries to the car and hold doors open” for her made her think, “‘Is this what other people experienced all the time?’”

Wilson added that the attention her revamped image has gotten still baffles her, “when there’s so much going on in the world,” allowing, “People are always fascinated by weight loss transformations.”

Wilson hit her goal weight of 165 pounds in November after undertaking a “year of health,” “Even though it’s not about a weight number, it’s about being healthy,” she said.
