A CDG BLACK x Nike Air Zoom Talaria is in the Works

COMME des GARÇONS BLACK is nothing if not consistent. Much like its namesake, its releases seem to follow a standard formula in color and creative decisions. Next to take the stage is the Nike Air Zoom Talaria, a full silhouette with plenty of character.

Tinker Hatfield himself designed the first Nike Air Zoom Talaria in ’97, it being one of the first models to feature Zoom Air technology. The Talaria was never brought out of the vault for a makeover quite the same way as other classic models. That is, until now. In the CDG Black edition, Nike has kept up with its recent trend of suede-use, covering the upper with the soft material, rounding out the design with some leather trimming and thick midsole. White heel branding graphics and tongue Swooshes stand out against the dark exterior, pulling the design together for a smooth finish.

The COMME des GARÇONS BLACK x Nike Air Zoom Talaria doesn’t have an official release date yet, but will likely drop via Dover Street Market later this year. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more release info.
