Rams vs. Packers prediction, line: Underdog the play here

Dave Tuley, senior reporter at VSiN.com, is in his third season with the Post’s Bettor’s Guide. His handicapping pieces appear in VSiN’s online magazine, Point Spread Weekly.

Los Angeles Rams (+6.5) over GREEN BAY PACKERS

The Rams went into Seattle and won 30-20, and they can do the same at Lambeau Field — or at least stay within the number — as this line appears to be inflated a few too many points, even though home-field advantage has been negligible all season (road teams went 4-2 SU and ATS in the wild-card games after being .500 at 125-125-3 ATS during the regular season).

The key is the Rams defense, led by Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey — it allows just 18.6 ppg. I don’t expect them to completely shut down Aaron Rodgers & Co., but just need to keep them within striking distance. The bigger concern is the Rams offense, though it still scored 30 on Seattle last week after John Wofford had to be replaced by Jared Goff.

Last week: 1-1. Washington (W), Titans (L).

2020 season: 15-19-2.
