Dove Cameron teams with Cameron Boyce Foundation on charity clothing line

Dove Cameron is honoring her late co-star on what would be his 21st birthday.

The “Descendants” actress, 24, teamed up with the Cameron Boyce Foundation to release a collection of T-shirts, sweaters and more, with a portion of proceeds going to the Actors Fund COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund.

Designed by Cameron, the limited-edition apparel features the image of a revolver with a flower sticking out of its barrel, which matches the the star’s tattoo honoring Boyce. She’s described the graphic as “sort of a nationally recognized symbol for peace and anti-gun movements.”

Boyce was a staunch advocate for gun control, and the Cameron Boyce Foundation seeks to continue his work to end gun violence and find a cure for epilepsy. The star died suddenly in his sleep last year from a seizure related to the disorder.

“Your purchases and your donations to the Cameron Boyce foundation mean more to me, his family, his friends, and his entire community (and the causes that he cared about) than you will ever know,” Cameron wrote on Instagram Thursday.

“Cameron was the most beautiful soul most of us will ever know. Please, if you are able, buy, gift, donate, and spread the word as we continue the work of what would have been Cameron’s life legacy. He deserved so much more time, so much more life. I implore you to help us try to give him that.”

The Dove x Wielding Piece line ranges in price from $22 for a hat to $45 for a hoodie, and will be available for two weeks.
